• Overview Tour of BRIT: Learn about BRIT's history, present, and future as we talk about our research programs, herbarium, libraries, and educational programs.
• BRIT's Sustainability Story Tour: BRIT is green from the ground up; learn how and why as you take this tour of BRIT's amazing new home.

Public Tours
Docent-led tours of BRIT are available:

*Tuesday–Friday, 1:30 p.m.–2:30 p.m.
**Saturday, 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. & 12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m.

Wednesday/Friday/Saturday: Overview Tour of BRIT

Cost: Free to the public

*Reservation required for public tours taking place Tuesday – Friday.
**Reservations are not required for public tours taking place on a Saturday.

Private Tours
Staff-led tours are offered upon request to groups wanting a private tour of the facility.
Cost: $7.50 per person; $6.75 per member (10% off)

Customized Tours
A tour led by a BRIT staff member is available upon request to groups wanting a private tour that is customized to meet their needs and interests.
Cost: $10.00 per person; $9.00 per member (10% off)

Self-guided Tours Available

• LEED self-guided tour: Explore BRIT at your own pace as you learn about the many sustainable features of our building and landscape.
• Family Educational tour: Connect with your prairie heritage as you develop skills scientists use when working in the field and in life.

Self-guided Educational Tours are available during regular working hours, Mondays- Fridays, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.  Stop by BRIT, pick up a guide from the hospitality desk, and enjoy your visit!
