Flora, the Gift Store at BRIT

Since we are a botanical organization with a focus on sustainability, we have tried to focus our gift assortment around things that are botanical in reality or by theme, along with product that is of the earth and made from sustainable materials.

Our product lines include

• Children’s product lines that make learning, exploring, and enjoying nature and science fun and creative.
• Pine Needle home décor/serving accessories hand woven in the mountains of Mexico by local artisans with pine needles that cover the floor of the woods. These functional and beautiful items are elegantly executed with nickel trim.
•  Fine pewter wine accessories crafted by a 125-year-old company.  These items include wine funnels, aerators, decanters, and bottle coasters with exquisite hand polished detail.
• Garden motif home décor accessories made in the age old sand cast method and hand polished to a brilliant finish.
• Fair Trade Product such as

Necklaces, bracelets, and earring made from recycled paper by Ugandan village women.  The color of these beautiful and unique items are determined by the color of the paper.

Beautiful hand-woven baskets and home décor product made by the women in Rwanda who were left widowed by the devastating genocide in 1994.  These women support their families by creating these intricate unique designs using raw materials such as raffia, sisal, banana leaf, and sweet grass which are colored with organic dyes.

Flora offers a gift/ bridal registry along with product geared toward corporate gift giving and free gift wrapping.
