 Field Trips to BRIT

"Now that was the best field trip ever!"
- 5th grader from Burleson ISD

When you bring your students to the indoor and outdoor classrooms at The BRIT SEED School, they will get the unique opportunity to spend a day as a BRIT scientist.  Using inquiry, your students will ask questions and explore answers about BRIT's geology wall, living roof, pocket prairie, and state of the art sustainable building.  They will experience science in a way that applies it to the "real" world.

All of this while still meeting TEKS objectives!

Field trips are available for elementary, middle, and high school levels.  For the optimum experience, we recommend a maximum of 30 students for most field trips; however, larger numbers can be accommodated by special request.

The cost for the field trip is $8.00 per student (no cost for instructor and required assistants).

BRIT requires one adult for every ten children who attend the field trip.

To reserve your date, please contact April Sawey at 817.429.3257 or e-mail asawey@brit.org.
