Iridos

n. A Greek word for iris, a sweet-smelling flower and the symbol of the mythological character Iridos, the messenger of the ancient Greek gods. Iridos was the goddess of the rainbow, winging a message across the sky; in the Iliad, she was the swift-footed messenger of Zeus and Hera. In the 18th and 19th centuries, conveying an unwritten message with flowers was prevalent and known as “the language of flowers.”

Today, Iridos carries BRIT’s message.

Iridos is BRIT's color magazine, published and mailed to members twice a year.  It is a friendly and readable way to learn news and information about BRIT research, education, publications, people, events, and activities.
